Before the computer age, data were kept typed direct typed on the papers through the type writers. The typewriters were manual typing machines. In which, for the typing papers, ink-ribbon (blue/black) used.  e-typing has no requirement of papers, ink-ribbon etc. 

Electronically typed matter is an e-typing. 

In this current age we use mobile keyboard, computer keyboard to type the data. That means e-typing. 

E-Typing is an electronically typed matter, which is being used daily in our life as typing on Mobile, Smart Phones, Electronic-notebooks, computers and laptops etc. 

e-Typing is cannot be done on normal (manual) type writers like Remington, Facet’s etc. 

Now a days manual typewriters are history in the modern age.
